Hello Friends!

It's been a while since I've posted as life has swept me up in a whirlwind. For the past two weeks I'd been on vacation in California visiting my boyfriend and his family. This has caused me to slack a little bit on my creative endeavors (it was nice to take a break, okay?). While on this trip I heard some exciting news - I'd been accepted for a job and I would finally be moving to California!

Things since then have happened very quickly. I've shipped my car across the country, I booked a one way flight, and managed to fit my life into just a few suitcases. I often stop and think "I'm finally doing something I've been dreaming about for years. No more long distance relationship!" But with big changes come some big fears. The thought of leaving my family and friends is enough to make me want to stay. But I can't. I can't stay.

Yesterday, I made the off-hand decision to watch Walt Before Mickey. It's a great movie and I recommend it to any Disney buff or entrepreneur. Dreams, visions, innovation - putting those things into motion takes time and failures but persistence is what separates the dream achievers from the quitters.

Making your dreams a reality sometimes not only pushes us outside of our comfort zones, it completely kicks us off the cliff. And while I'm scared I'm also so incredibly proud of myself for proving so many people wrong. For proving love can truly conquer any distance and that "following your dreams" isn't just a mantra you put on a throw pillow - it's actually feasible.

I decided to create this wallpaper because this quote and the movie it comes from (Disney's UP) is very near and dear to my heart. Ever since I was little I've always dreamed of having my own adventures. However, whenever the opportunity would be presented to me I would find every excuse in the book to run the other way. Well, I've decided to stop running. Now my adventure begins. Thank you to everyone who constantly supports me and encourages my endeavors. And a special thanks to you, Edwin - for being the greatest adventure a girl could ever ask for.

Always keep your head up and remember - Adventure is out there.
